Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the only woman to have ever won the two CrossFit Games. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. The popular athlete is the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie, her parents, and her siblings were born and grew up in Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and exercising enthusiast since at an early age, Annie participated in a variety of school sports and was awarded numerous medals. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir took part in the CrossFit competition in California. Annie Thorisdottir was 31 years old older (as as of 2021). She stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately about 67kg. Annie started CrossFit in California in 2009. Annie did very well in the initial races and placed at the top of the list out of 70. She did not manage to get any results from this tournament and she ended her time with an overall score of 11. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. It was in her second year that she participated in her second CrossFit Games. Due to her outstanding performance, she was the first female athlete to win CrossFit Games. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 led to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she was able to win consecutively. Additionally, in 2014, she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie has gained notoriety for her athletic talents, has been featured in commercials for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs, among other. She also has her own Youtube channel titled "Annie", with over 1000 subscribers. This is where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family and travel.
