Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber in Philadelphia Pennsylvania on the 14th day of May 1964, to the Jewish family. Her age at present is the age of 58. Sandra Kolber was her mother and Gene Kolber was her father. In 1982, she graduated from Upper Dublin High School and Sandy Run Middle School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications in 1986 at the University of Miami. The job she got was as an executive director of sports at Dynamic Cable located in Coral Gables Florida while she was still an undergraduate college student. Additionally, she worked for Dynamic Cable between 1984 and 1986 for a total of two time. During this period she was also a part of the water ski team of University of Miami. University of Miami. Plaza was a part of the Wilmington community theatre as when she was a young person, and did improv and performed in one-acts and directed them, as well as participating in various activities. Following her graduation from high school, she made the move into New York City. There she studied improv classes as well as film making at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. When she graduated in high school she relocating to New York City where she attended classes in improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She also studied film and television production at the Tisch School of the Arts. Her graduation was in 2006.
