Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is a famous American cookbook writer who has won Emmy Awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The series began in 2002. The show will run for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and other policy documents. In the beginning, she was enthralled by the intellectual rigors of the job, but quickly stopped her interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. After more than 18 years of making her store a huge success, she sold it, and then began writing her first book. Numerous other cookbooks and magazine columns came later. Another hit was the Food Network Television show. The company also offers a wide range of product from cooking ingredients to storage and equipment. Ina is a self-taught cook who has not been to a cooking class and has never worked in a kitchen. She's known for her easygoing way of creating and entertaining. Her most well-known recipes are Skillet - Roasted lemon Chicken Mac and cheese, Mac, Beef Bourguignon and cheese, Beatty's Chocolate Cake and Lemon Bars.
