Sharni Vison, an Australian-American dancer and actress was born 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was part of two episodes on the Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. The small part she played, her acting was so good that the director of casting wanted to have her play all the roles. She however did attempt to audition but she wasn't selected. Instead, during the same episode she got to play the role of Cassie Turner, who is an unruly teenager placed in foster care. Fans and critics alike praised her performance.
